Labor Day is around the corner (and by that I am referring to the national holiday, and not the what my mother refers to my birthday as). Conventional fashion rules tell us that we’re not supposed to wear white after Labor Day, and while we don’t really subscribe to arbitrary codes of conduct, in the interest of outfit inspiration we’ll pretend this rule is hard and fast (that’s what she said). Anyway, below are five white outfits from Hailey Bieber to serve as summer outfit inspo.
Slip Dress + Strappy Heels (and takeout box?)
Celebrities – They’re just like us! They bag up their leftovers and eat them the next morning for breakfast on the couch without so much as warming them up, out of pure laziness. Okay, that might just be me. Here Hailey is seen in a lacy, 90’s slip dress with strappy white sandals. This is the perfect outfit for a nicer dinner on a warm summer day.
Athletic Skirt + Sneakers
This look is giving tennis, and by giving tennis, I mean watching tennis while drinking an Aperol Spritz because who actually knows how to play tennis. Pair a white mini skirt with a plain white tank, crew socks, and sneakers, and you’ve got yourself an easy (but so cute) outfit.
Sheer Slip + Sneakers
Okay.. I know what you’re ALL looking at and thinking about, so I’ll just come out and say it… yes I do think Justin might be wearing house slippers. Jokes aside, sure – this outfit is a little bold to wear out and about, but no one is saying to wear this to Target (Erehwon, maybe). But you can always wear something like this as a beach or pool cover-up, or even for backyard drinks with (really) good friends???
White Dress + Cap + Flip Flops
Here Hailey pairs a classic white summer dress from Frankie’s Bikinis with chunky flip flops and a baseball cap. It’s simple, but it works (which is incidentally also what I tell myself when I wear sweats and a tank three days in a row)
White Midi Dress + Sneakers
In general, throwing on a pair of casual sneakers is a great way to create a more interesting outfit out of a more simple, and perhaps more dressy, dress. In this case, Hailey wears a Bottega Venetta midi, with athletic sneakers and crew socks
