if it isn’t already apparent, one of the things we really like to advocate for is thrifting. Fashion is a major contributor to greenhouse gas emissions, and anyone with an internet connection can see the how ubiquitous fast fashion has become. Unfortunately most of these clothes are made of synthetic materials, and end up in landfills in developing countries. The best way to avoid contributing to this phenomenon is to avoid over-consumption in general. That being said, if you do enjoy shopping (which, like, I get it) focusing on purchasing secondhand or upcycled clothing is a much more sustainable alternative to buying new items.
