They’re feminine, flattering, easy to dress both up and down, and brands like Reformation and Realisation Par have already begun selling them so it’s only a matter of time before this trend takes off.
as always, we think vintage or thrifted is always the best way to buy into any trend. It’s generally 1) cheaper, 2) more sustainable, and 3) much more likely to be unique. Head to your local thrift store and check out the PJ’s or dress section or try a quick search of “slip dress” on either Depop or Poshmark which should yield plenty of results. Personally, I thought finding a cute slip dress at a thrift store would be the fashion-equivalent of winning the lottery, but hand on Vogue I walked into Goodwill this week and saw a vintage Victoria’s slip hanging on a rack right before my very eyes for $5.99! That’s less than I had spent on coffee that day!
